On a late Thursday night in Greensboro, NC the venue known as Piedmont Hall would feel one of the most electrifying country shows of all time. Warren Zeiders has arrived for his “Pretty Little Poison” tour and was ready to shut the place down. The line was down the block and everyone was anticipating the show and couldn’t wait. Eventually the doors would open and as time ticked the show would soon be kicked off with the opener Clayton Mullen.
Clayton went right into the show going hit for hit with starting off with “Rainin’ in Dallas”. The riff from the guitar was all the crowd needed to hear to know what time it was. The ball would begin to get rolling right after that as he played “Whiskey On It”. This was all that was needed to get the crowd off their feet and get the mood set for the rest of the night that was soon to come.

The night is right, everyone had that good buzz flowing through their systems and it was time. The lights began to get dark and all you saw was a flashing white light with a drummer banging his heart out, a bassist playing the lowest of notes, and a guitarist playing a beautiful riff that let you know that someone is about to come to the stage and bring the house down and that’s exactly what Warren Zeiders did. The first song he came out to was “Ride the lightning” which was one of the best intros to a concert that many people should experience. The crowd going word for word singing the catchy hook of the song which gets stuck in your head very quickly.
Warren would keep the hot streak going as he preformed a cover of Lynard Skynard’s “Simple Man” which is a definite hype song for anyone who loves good nice crisp sound of true country vocals. This is something that had people in tears due to the presence of Warren and the song itself as its one many people can relate to as it tells you to just take your time and enjoy life and try not to stress so much and this show was definitely something that took the stress off of everyone that was there that night. The show would go on more as he followed up with some of his more popular songs as well such as “Pretty Little Poison”, “Burn It Down”, and “Pain killer”. The whole night was full of amusement and excitement and is something no one is ever going to forget. Warren Zeiders is someone everyone should add to their list to see before the tour ends.
