Hurricane Fest 2025 Preview
Written by Lara Ann Schumacher
German festival season is almost back, and with that, it’s time for Hurricane again! With more than 80.000 attendees every year, the Hurricane Festival is one of Germany’s largest music fests, and ever since the first one in 1997, its incredible lineups and the constant good vibes bring people from all over the country to Scheeßel in northern Germany. In 2025, the fun will start on the 20th of June and continue until the 22nd.
This year’s lineup does not disappoint either. On all three days packed with incredible music, you can be assured to find something for everyone, whether you’re into Alternative, Punk, Rock, or Pop. I can’t even begin to list all my favourites (it would simply take far to long) but artists like Green Day, Kneecap, Djo, and Wetleg will get you to party non-stop, while Paris Paloma, Lucy Dacus, Girl In Red, and more will be there to represent the indie fans! As it should be done, German music will also be appreciated! Von Wegen Lisbeth, Berq, Raum 27, 01099, and a lot of other fan favourites will bring the best vibes to the festival.
The Hurricane team also puts effort into making the event enjoyable for all by doing their best to make the festival site accessible, caring about the festival’s environmental impact and providing sustainability solutions. More about this, camping, and security can be found on their website.
If that sounds like a good way to spend your weekend for you (which I am SO sure it does)
